Cant connect to Facebook

I have been having so much trouble with Spotify. I had my premium account created with Facebook and I recently moved to Canada, but could never change the country of my account and my payment settings. So I decided to close that account and create a new one. Now that I have the new one, I can not connect it to Facebook. What can I do? I would really appreciate some help. Thanks

Just to confirm, did you follow these steps to close the account that was linked to Facebook?

Once the account is fully closed, you should be able to link your Facebook profile to any other account without any trouble.
