Cant listen so music/log in because of proxy / firewall?

Hello guys 🙂

I want to listen to music on my laptop, but it didnt worked. I uninstalled Spotify and installed it again. Now I want to log in but i cant because of a firewall blocking Spotify?? They say its the code 101.

Sorry but i dont have any clue about firewalls, proxy and those things. Also I´m from Germany so excuse my english please.

Hey @Carok90! Welcome to the Community.

 

If you're connected to the internet through an office network, we'd suggest you get in touch with your IT department and check if access for Spotify is currently blocked.

 

If you're connected to your home network, click on the link that the red error message provides. It will lead you to a window where you can select the proxy type Spotify will use. Try choosing "Auto Detect" or "No Proxy". That should do the trick.
