Cant login because country check

Cant login because country check

Hello

 

I reinstalled Spotify and i can no longer log in.

The reason it gives is that the my ip based country not match the country my account is set to.

I try this in belgium, live in belgium and my accoutn is set to belgium...

also this site does say my ip is resolved as inside belgium...

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

 

That does sound like a very strange issue, can you just check the following:

- Your country on this page is set correctly. 

- Your IP address on http://whatismyipaddress.com/ locates to inside Belgium. 

- Your Spotify is not connecting via a proxy. 

 

If you are still having issues, I would suggest you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to investigate this a little closer for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
