Cant play music on desktop app

My Question or Issue

Whenever I try and listen to music on my pc desktop app it just has a blank cover and doesnt play anything but it works on the web browser and mobile, please help.

thanks for posting !

Please make sure to follow these steps : 

- Uninstall the app

- Make sure Spotify has all permissions needed on your firewall

- Audio drivers are updated

- Reinstall the app

However, if this does not do the trick, try installing this Microsoft version of Spotify.
