My Question or Issue

 

I am stuck in a catch 22 situation - I forgot my password to my Spotify account, my Spotify account is connected to a very old email address of mine that I never use and also forgot the password too, so I cannot reset my Spotify password. I do NOT wantto log in through facebook and I want to keep my old account with all my playlists. How can I get back in to my account (a premium account that I continue being charged for without accessing)?? Please help!!

I don’t know what you could do on the Spotify side of things, however you could go onto the email account, select “forgot password”, set up a new password, log into the email account, then press “forgot password” on Spotify, and create your new password on Spotify through your email account 

Thanks for your reply. I have however already tried this but I do not get
access to my old email account. I created it when I was 13 (22 years ago)
and have not used it in many many years. The security questions to get a
new passport ca not be answered (I.e I do not know what was in the subject
lines for my last sent emails -this was around 8 years ago- I have a
different phone nr etc.). I simply do not get in. Can I open a new Spotify
account and transfer my old playlists and my premium package to the new
Spotify account?

I may have found a solution, but only if you are logged in on the community section w the same acc as the one with the playlist. Are you?

Unfortunately not as I can no longer log in 😞 I had to create a new
Spotify account (without the playlists) to log in here for assistance/help.

Oh, I’m sorry, as I don’t know what to do to solve your problem, what kind of music do you listen to, because if we have the same taste I’ll let you use my playlists until you recover your account 

Ah, that is very kind of you, thanks, but I really prefer my own collection
of playlists that I have been working on putting together for years
already. There must be a way for me to speak to somebody from Spotify,
verify my identity and get access to my premium account? I mean, I can't
just keep on paying them without having access to my account?

You can, but unless you have a very specific name, it may take hours to find
