Change Premium to student edition

Hello,

I just signed up to spotify permium yesterday and paid 9,99 € accidentally because I was in a hurry.

The problem is, that I am a student and would like to change to the student edition and pay 4,99€

Is that possible now?

Hi there,
Welcome at the Spotify Community!

There are two things you could do:

1. Cancel your premium subscription and wait for your account to drop to free (that happens at the next bill date, your account should say something like: Your account will drop to free on 2015-xx-xx). Then you could subscribe for Student discount.
2. You may get in touch with Spotify so they can edit your subscription. 

You may get in touch with Spotify via their Twitter page (@SpotifyCares), or by following this link to send an e-mail.
If you send an e-mail, please check your inbox (and spam box) to check for their automatic reply. Once you get it, please reply to it immediatly (even if it's from an no-reply e-mail addres) to make sure an Spotify employee will get back to you as soon as possible.

Spotify aims to reply within 24 hours.
