Change Subscription type

I am trying to update my payment information because I got a new credit card. When I go to change it, it tries to verify my student enrollment, but I am no longer a student, so it won't verify it and then the updated payment information is not processed. I would like to keep my Premium subscription, even though I won't get the student discount, but I don't want to completely cancel my subscription then open a new one for fear that I will lose all my playlists, etc.

If you’re finding that you cannot update your payment method because the system is stating that your student subscription has expired, then you will want to cancel your subscription, and then re-subscribe here once it lapses. This will then allow you to update your payment information.

To manage your subscription, simply go here. As far as canceling goes, don’t worry. All of your playlists will remain intact. The only thing to keep in mind is that when your subscription lapses you will lose access to your offline tracks, and have to later re-download them.
