My Question or Issue

I started my premium membership lonftime ago. It was a gift from my sister to our family. Back then we lived in Chile. Years passed I live in Italy, Spain and now Hungary. My financial accounts are from Spain and Revolut from Lituania. But I lived in Hungary. I see that Spotify stopped our original contract and now is making me choose a country WHERE THE FINANCIAL DATA AND THE RESIDENCY HAVE TO MATCH. As the price went up severly (from 5 euros to 15 euros) I decided to keep my free account.

I got a notification that 14 days have passed (from I don't know what exact event as is not mentioned) and now my account is blocked because I am not in the country I supposed to be.

Unfortunately, I cannot find an easy way to easily choose the address of my free account.

Hey, @ben160
Welcome to the Spotify Community, and thanks for reaching out to us!

On the Free tier, you can use your Spotify abroad for up to 14 days. After this period, you need to change the country set to your account for the new one where you are. It's very simple to change it and you can find the step-by-step here:

Last, but not least, if you want to continue having the Premium, but without the necessity of setting a payment method, you could consider using gift cards to top-up your Spotify account. You can find more information about it here.

Stay awesome! 🎶

If you have further questions or if you need anything else, let me know! I'd love to help!
