Change country settings / country not listed

Hi there,

 

my my country is not listed in the country settings,

so after 14 days I received the message I cannot use Spotify outside my country.

 

is there a way to manually add my country?

Hey @casparos74,

 

Unfortunately, if Spotify hasn't officially launched in your country yet, you won't be able to use the service there until it's launched.

 

To see in which countries Spotify is available, check here.

Actually my country is in the list !!!

Only I can't select it ! There is only USA.
Could it be because of the ISP?

Because i Need to set a zipcode, it doesn't find the list, of the country.

 

the country: netherlands antilles hasnot got a zipcope, so how to select it in the list?

Isnt'there any support from Spotify themselve?

Because this is a problem for all users in this country probably

That is good news! Most of those problems come from a difference between the country shown by the IP address, and the one in your profile.

 

First, check your IP address here.

After that, compare it to the country shown in your profile.
 
Change your country setting so it matches what your IP address shows.
 
If you opened your account with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.

my ip address is ireland but spotify keeps creating accounts with a country of US and will not let me change it to ireland.  I'm using family subscription and cannot join family members because it thinks the family accounts are in another country. how can I fix this. Seems to be a bug

First, check your IP address here in the computer you're creating your family accounts.

After that, compare it to the country shown in their profiles.
Do they match?
 
If you opened your accounts with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.

they do no match .that is my proble, the ip address checker says ireland. the country in the profile says US. I did not set it to US -- Spotify did. Dont know why. How do I change it.

In your profile, where it says US, it's a drop down menu, and it should give you the option to change it. Unless your account was opened through Facebook, which makes your country fixed to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.

 

Also, if you have a payment method registered, it must match your country too, so you may need to delete it first to update countries.
