Change country: why individual account should become duo??

Hello,

I have had an individual premium account for Years. Now I've change country, I've changed bank account and credit card. I try to change country, and the system doesn't allow to renew my individual account, it ask me to upgrade to a duo account which I basically don't need. Why is that? Thanks

Hi @stefano_fea!

If you have Premium, you won't be able to change your country settings on your account page. Instead, your country will be automatically set to the one your payment method was issued in, but no worries, with Premium you can use Spotify globally, so there's no need to change your country.

As for the Premium Duo promotion, users occasionally receive such offers to inform them of the other existing Premium plans in case they'd like to upgrade. If you're not interested, you can simply ignore them and edit your notification settings on your account page.
