Change method of payment help is wrong?

I'm trying to change my payment method - it's three-yearly new credit card time, and I would like to change to spotify to avoid this utterly painful process in future.
I'm a premium member and I'm trying to change the payment method on Macbook Air M# 2024 version using up to date Chrome.
The 'how to change' tutorial tells me to open my account. It then tells me to click on 'manage your plan' under 'subscription.
However I can't find such a link.
I tried the 'manage your subscription' link just in case, but it doesn't have a 'update' link which is supposed to be the next step.

I hope you’re doing well. Typically you are able to update your payment details following these steps. However, it sounds like your payment is being billed through a third-party that isn’t Spotify, so you will need to contact them and cancel your current subscription through them, wait for your account to revert to Free and then resubscribe to Premium

 

Once you resubscribe, you’re able to select your new method of payment and proceed with a new subscription. Keep in mind that this change will not affect any saved content you have on your account, so don’t worry about your liked songs and playlists being affected from this change.
