Change password > Another account is already registered...

Trying to change password on my account.  Will not go through, with error message : ""Another account is already registered with this email address".  Huh???  Please assist!

Did you signed up for Spotify through Facebook or using an email address?

This normally happens when you have more than one Spotify account registered in the system, its especially common if your Spotify email address is the same as your Facebook login. If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form they can remove the extra account for you. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
