Change payment method and country

Hey. 

Last year I moved to NL from RU and still have Premium in RUB and RU MasterCard. 

I can't change my region in Profile - the country selector is disabled. 

 

Due to the current situation in the world, I want to switch my account to NL and rebuild my subscription. 

 

I see, that I can try to switch my plan via https://www.spotify.com/is-en/premium/ 

But when I try to pay, it said to me that my payment account and region do not match. 

 

How I can do it?

Solved. 

But I was needed to wait until my subscription was canceled. And only after that I saw the option to change my country.

Thanks for coming to the Community.

 

You need to be in the Netherlands in order to be able to change your country setting to the Netherlands by updating your payment method to one that's been issued there.

I read the article. I'm in the Netherlands now and last 4 months, but I can't change the region as I said.  

That's why I asking for help.

Checked. 

By clicking "Change payment method" it said me

"Unfortunately, there is no support at the moment to make this type of change to your subscription. Contact our customer service team who can help you further."

Thanks for the reply.

 

We recommend waiting for a response from the folks over at Customer Support as they're the once who can help you with payment issues. You can reach out to them again if necessary. In the meantime, you can try the following (if you haven't already):

  • Try with a private / incognito window.
  • Try clearing your browser's cookies and data.
  • Try with another browser.
  • Try with another device.
  • Change ro a different network.

Hope you get this sorted out.
