Change profile picture on Spotify

So, I saw a thread of this from a year ago, when Spotify said they weren't going to deal with it, and thought I'd bring it back up. I'm kind of shocked that after a year this has not been resolved.

For those of us who don't want to connect with Facebook for whatever reason, we don't get the ability to have a profile picture. I, personally, don't think that's fair, so I posted an idea here. If you guys go give kudos if you agree, we might actually get the response we want and be able to change our picture on our own.

Hello, @Jaz16546! I think that just because the previous idea was marked as "Not right now" doesn't mean that Spotify aren't working on it or keeping it on their long "to-do" list, therefore there's really no need to post new ideas that have already been suggested on the community forums. The idea you posted is probably going to be marked as duplicated so I'd suggest subscribing to the original suggestion as the topic developes.

Yeah, no. Spotify just says that to placate people. Honestly, even though I just went Premium, I feel like Spotify could not care less about their customers. It's nearly impossible to get anything through to customer service, and they don't respond to community feedback, like people wanting to have their profiles independent of Facebook.

@Jaz16546 We do care, but our developers, as good as they are, have limits. They're always busy working on some project or another. It's just the case that a profile picture isn't on their to-do list right now.

All of us who work at Spotify are Spotify users too. We all have things we want to see, and not all of us have our Spotify accounts connected to Facebook (I don't, for example). Sure, I'd quite like to have a profile picture too, but to be honest, I'm happy having the developers working on some of the cool stuff they're working on now!
