Changed email on Facebook, Spotify won't update

Changed email on Facebook, Spotify won't update

I changed my Facebook email awhile ago (about a month or two ago), but Spotify won't update and is also showing the wrong birthday. I do not have access to the old email anymore and have tried contacting Spotify a few times with no luck. How can I fix this? Thank you!

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you still have not gotten a reply:

Did you get a confirmation email from the contact form? It should be similar to "Spotify Support Case #XXXXXXX". If so, reply back to that email and tell them you still need help.

 

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it saying you still need help, even if it's from a no-reply address.

 

If you never got an email, look in your spam folder to see if there is an email in there. Make sure you are checking the email account you used to sign up to Spotify. You can check the email on your account here.

Thank you for responding so quickly! I appreciate your help.

When I tried using the contact form, it says it is sending a reply to the old email - the email I don't have access to anymore. I sent a second message asking for help, saying "Please send it to this email instead, I do not have access to the one you are trying to respond to." I still have not seen a response and I checked my Spam folder, too.

When I go to my account page, I see the blue banner that says "You can edit your email address, gender, and birthday on your Facebook account page." I did that awhile ago and that's why I'm having this issue to begin with. Spotify won't update to the new email.

In that case, I recommend using this contact form. You should have better luck with it. There is a field where you can enter the email address you want them to reply to.

Also, when using the contact form I linked, make sure you are logged out of any Spotify account or the email field will not show up.
