Changed from premium to free

Changed from premium to free

Hello,

I was changed from premium to free user but I don't know why. This month the usual payment wasn't charged from my credit card account, and I don't know why neither.

Can anybody help me, please, especially to get back my playlists?

Thank you very much in advance,

kind regards,

Patricia

Hi.

It sounds as if you may have created/logged in to a second account. When an account reverts from Premium to Free your playlists and music should still be present on the account, the offline content is what becomes unavailable and some settings.
Here's a guide on how to check if you have more than one Spotify account:

Hi Erik,

thank you very much for your reply. However, I'm sure that I don't have more than one account. I noticed that since beginning of february, Spotify stopped to charge my credit card account, and I don't know the reason for it. It would be no problem to create a new account, but then I can forget my old playlists.

Do you have any idea?

Best rgds,

Patricia

Okay.

From what I can understand from your first post you're missing playlists, can you check if you can restore them here:
https://www.spotify.com/account/recover-playlists/

As for why your subscription has ended I don't know but can you check if you can resubscribe here:
https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

Also it may be good for you to be on the alert, that there might be someone who has access to your account. Since there seem to have happened some stuff on your account that you haven't done yourself.

Dear Dirk,

thank you very much for your answer and your help. I decided to take the family premium option, and I got my playlists back.

Kind regards,

Patricia
