Changing Countries

I am currently traveling in Australia, and will soon be bounching from country to country. I started my account ages ago in the U.S, I had to switch my payment option from my U.S bank account, to my Aussie bank account a while ago. I have recently got a new debit card and upon trying to change my payment info, it tells me I have to change my country.. ok cool. I try to change my country on my profile; on the account page it says "US", but when I go to edit the profile it says Australia, and I can't click on it.. 

 

I then try to just change my payment, I follow the steps given to me by clicking other payment options, change my country to Australia, and then click the green button saying "Change to Australia". It then takes me to a subscription page and only give me the option of a family plan, or paying for the whole year upfront.. what the **bleep** is that? 

 

So do I have to create a whole new account? Does that mean I am going to lose all my saved songs from my current account? I can't find those answers anywhere! Also, I know Spotify is available in Australia, and I know that there are more options then just a family plan or paying upfront.. This is ridiculous. 

 

Hoping someone can give me some answers, its really ridiculous that I can't conact someone directly from spotify considering I have been a paying customer from the start!
