Changing account numbers with rogers messed up my spotify premium :(

Hi, 

I have a Rogers share everything plan and have a free premium spotify account

When my work told me I could get a corporate discount I called Rogers and got my discount applied to my bill. By doing that my account number changed. When I tried to manage my spotify from my new account it told me that spotify was already linked to the email I was entering therefore I could not activate with that email. My spotify on my phone is now playing as free and not premium. My plan did not switch I should still have my premium account. 

 

When I called rogers for help, after 2h30 on the phone with them they finally told me there was nothing they could do. I had to contact spotify and ask them to delete my spotify account from my old account on rogers so that I could start over.

 

I contacted spotify and they gave me the link to come read stuff on this community page but nothing else..

Hey @mgallant06,

If you got an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
