Changing address back to home country while overseas

Hi Spotify, 

I am unable to change the address of my account back to my home country whilst abroad (for extended periods). I have tried the credit card method but it still does not change. 

Do advise. Thanks!

Most of those problems come from a difference between the country shown by the IP address, and the one in your profile.
 
First, check your IP address here.
After that, compare it to the country shown in your account overview.
 
If you opened your account with Facebook, your country is tied to the country shown in your Facebook account, so you may need to change it there.

Yes, my ip address matches the country. So I am trying to change the country.

If you set up the account through facebook then you'll probably have to change your address on there yes as the Spotify account just takes the information from your facebook. Worth a punt I think! You can chance that in the about section of your facebook profile I think.

Doesn't work. Spotify AU doesn't allow me to change even after I have enter my card details or link up with my facebook acct.

Ah OK. The Spotify must use the IP before anything else. In which case, if you signed up when you were in a different country and you've tried all the usual tricks then you might want to mention it to Spotify Care with this contact form. They'll be able to alter it at their end if needs be.
