Changing country doesn't work

So I wanted renew my student account (since I'm a bit late it actually switched to a premium account) but for my studies I just moved from Europe to the VS. When I use the guide on Spotify’s website the US is not listed, so I read through the blogs on here and changed my payment method to creditcard as that could be a problem but I can still not change it.

 

Does anyone know how to fix this?

Just to make sure we are on the same page, you're saying that you're facing issues when trying to update your country, right? Are you sure you're following these steps correctly to update your country? Note that the option of the new country/region will only appear if you're there in person.

Just to make sure we are on the same page, you're saying that you're facing issues when trying to update your country, right? Are you sure you're following these steps correctly to update your country? Note that the option of the new country/region will only appear if you're there in person.

Hi @luan

 

I was able to change my account recently but it will not accept my credit card. Its not issued by an US bank but it’s a normal mastercard that has been working for every payment but off and online fine. Do you know what could be the issue here?

When it comes to the credit card, you're facing this issue exactly because this payment method isn't issued in the same country your account is set.
