Changing country

Changing country

I've been using a Spotify Free account for some time. I recently moved form Norway to the UK and I need to change my country to continue using Spotify. However, when I go to "edit profile," enter new postcode and country, it says that my e-mail address is already being used. Well, yes; it's being used by me. I'm stuck as to what I'm doing wrong.

 

I've surfed around the forums and FAQ, without finding a solution. Anyone ever had this problem?

Welcome to the community 🙂

 

The email address in use message normally appears when you have accidentally created another account using Facebook. Also, if you are a free member and you wish to change your country you will need to contact customer services so they can do it for you. Doing it from your account requires you to enter your payment details to verify your location. 

 

I would suggest you contact the payments team using the online contact form explaining your situation and linking them to this topic. If you recieve an automated reply, reply directly to that email with your message and it will be sent to a member of the team who can help 😉
