Changing from Premium to Spotify Family

We're a family of 5, 2 adults and three teenage daughters, one of whom doesn't live at home. I've upgraded from Premium to Family but can't work out how to actually use the Family plan. Do we need to cancel it so we are free again, and then add people to the plan? If you cancel do you lose your playlists? Any help much appreciated. Thanks.

Hey there! You just have to go into your account to add others to family. Feel free to contact Spotify Support if you're having trouble with the accounts or if you have multiples on Premium already. They can be reached through their Twitter Page @SpotifyCares or through the online contact form. 

Make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify. Once you get it, make sure to reply back right away, even if it says it's from a "no-reply" email.

After you unsubscribe everyone in your family (you will not lose your playlists, they will still be there), you can add the other accounts on your accounts page.
