Changing from a standard subscription to student

I already have premium, but I want to change to the student subscription. It wants me to add my card info again, but I don't want to be billed twice, does the standard premium stop once I start student, or do I have to cancel it myself and sign up for student?

And no, you won't be charged twice.

After the signup to the Student discount your discount will be applied at your next payment day.
