Changing name while keeping my playlists, following, followers, etc.

Hi,

 

I want to change my profile name. It is suggested I can do this by making a new account, but this means I need to register a different email address & also will lose all m data. Can someone please help me with this? Surely a name change would be possible with maintaining all my data (playlists, artists I follow, people that follow me, etc). I put a lot of work in these playlists, and don't want to lose this, nor my following and followers.

You can reach out to Support via one of the below ways. They're also able to free your current email up so that it can be used with your new account.

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

If you want a profile that displays a different name, you can create a new account. During sign up, you can create any profile name you'd like. 🙂

 

After creating a new account, you could reach out to Support to have them move all your stuff over to your new account.

 

If that's something you'd like to do, just let me know, and I'll then go ahead and point you in the right direction.

That would be great. If you could point me in the right directions (for example, who to reach out to?).

 

Also, when I create a new account, I cannot do this on my current email, yet I want this account and new name to be on the same email. How can this be solved?
