Changing payment method from Singapore to Hong Kong ***FAILED***

Hi. I'm currently living in Vietnam but using my Singapore account which will expire on the 28th April. I bought a gift card in Hong Kong and wanted to change the payment method to Hong Kong and use the code on the card. Upon changing the country and tried to enter the code and it says "prepaid code is invalid in your country". I don't understand why it doesn't work even if after i change the payment method country. Can somebody here help? Much appreciated.

You should be able to change your country after the current Premium subscription is expired.
