Charged Conversion Fee

I am on a Singapore Spotify premium account and I am paying it with a Singapore credit card. Why am I being charged a conversion fee?

In some cases your bank may choose to make the charge in USD, but we submit the charge in the local currency. We suggest contacting them directly.
