Charged For No Subscription

Charged For No Subscription

Hello all.

Back in January (maybe February?), I signed up for the "99cent 3 month subscription" to Spotify. However, for whatever reason, my account never changed. I just assumed it never went through, and didn't bother to sign up again. I haven't really used Spotify since then. This month, however, I noticed on my bank statement that Spotify charged $9.99 out of my bank account (the same account I would have used for my Spotify Premium account). When I log in on Spotify, though, it doesn't even show I have Premium, there are no receipts, and I don't have any e-mails from Spotify about charging me, aside from a few spam advertisements about the 3 month offer. What the heck can I do to stop being charged money by a service that A) I never was able to use and B) Don't want to use? I realized that they've been charging me since. Is there anyway I can get a refund?

Thanks,

Chameleoagapao

Hey there @chameleoagapao!

Sorry to hear that you've had some trouble with your account. It's entirely possible that you have a second account somehow if you aren't seeing Premium when you login.

I recommend reaching out to Spotify Support. They can be reached through their Twitter Handle @SpotifyCares, Facebook Page Spotify Cares, or through the online contact form.

If you submit the contact form instead of the Twitter or Facebook Message, make sure to check your inbox and junk folder for an email from Spotify.
