I have been charged $9.99 per month since Dec. 2014 however I have never signed up for Spotify premium. When I look on my account, it says "free" and there is no payment method attached. Anyone have an idea if I can get in contact with someone to see if there is another account using my credit card somehow? Or if there is another account created with one of my email addresses? I do not know why I have been charged for premium for a year and never had it. Unfortunately I just saw the charges on my account.

Hi,

 

Please contact the support team and they will be able to help you find the account.  They will need to ask you some details, so if you include the following it will help speed up the solution.  

 

They will need:

 

The date of the last payment

The first 6 and last 4 digits on the card

The amount of the last charge

To know how the charge is displayed - ie Ady*spotify, Spotify USA.

 

Please reply back with your case number as this will let me chase it up for you.

It has been over 24 hours and I never got a response. Is there a way to see why I am being charged 10 dollars a month for something that I do not have?

Hi Calvin. Thanks for being responsive to folks. Tried the instructions at suoport team but get page that offers to subscribe to premium but nothing else.  Same situation as previous poster - been charged $10 every month for a while but just noticed.  Want to "downgrade" to free service but can't figure out how.  Thanks for your assistance.

Could you please send an email to the support team via this link and then post your case number into this thread?  I will then be able to get the case moved to the correct team who will (should) find the payment.

Hi Calvin, Im not sure the best way to contact someone but you seem to be active on here so Im hoping you can help me.
I was charged 135$ for one month after my free trial. This is way too much, Ive hardly had spotify for 2 months. I am hoping to get a refund. 
How can this be resolved?

It looks like you may have bought a year subscription.  No problem refunding this for you.  I will tell you more in the pm.

I've had this problem as well, sort of.  I canceled my Premium subscription months ago, and even though I'm now only receveiving the Free service, I've still been charged $9.99/month for MONTHS.  I've tried using the Contact Us form, but only get formulaic responses redirecting me to the FAQ pages...not helpful.  HOW do I get in touch with an actual person to get reimbursed for the incorrect charges, and confirm that I will not continue to be charged in the future??????
