Charged for free Trial

Charged for free Trial

I have been charged for the free trial, even though I was very careful to cancel it after the 30 days.

Any attempts to contact Spotify have been unsuccessful so far, becase my email address linked to this account refuses to change, regardless of the number of times I changed it on Facebook. I am unable to log into the current email address because the account is defunked.

I sent an email to support@spotify.com and hope they will help.

 

Could someone assist me with this? I am really not eager to involve my bank with this situation, but will if my account is not refunded.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

I suggest you submit this online contact form; and someone at Spotify should be able to sort it out for you.

If you get an automated reply; make sure to reply to it directly (even if it's from a no reply); and it will be sent to the Spotify staff.

If you go to the Support Form, without being logged in, it should allow you to specify your own email address.

 

However, you should receive a reply from that email (although it shouldn't be used :P)

 

If you haven't got a response in a day or two, reply here and I'll escalate it to the Spotify staff.

I tried using the contact form while logged out, but it just forced me to enter my username and password first, bringing me right back to the problem.

I cannot change my email address and without that, I cannot use the contact form to get my account refund.

I've just had a little look on our system and can see that one of our advisors has e-mailed you back (to the Gmail address registered to your Facebook account) and refunded this payment for you. Please double check your spam filter if you haven't yet received this e-mail.
