Charged the day before the renewal date.

Charged the day before the renewal date.

Hi, my Spotify account says that my premium was due to end on 2016-08-01. I planned to unsubscribe on the 31st of July but it seemed that I have already been charged for the month of August. I still planned to be unsubscribed and want to be refunded from the charge. Please help.

Hi @andy_1360, welcome to the community!

 

Just so you know, you are free to cancel your subscription at any time, and your account will remain on Premium until your next renewal date, so you will remain on Premium for all the days you have already paid for. 

I guess in your case you might be able to request a refund. However, as it is a payment query, you will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you further.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
