Hey there!

Sometimes banks can give duplicate notifications about a single charge, giving the impression youโ€™ve been charged twice. You can always check what youโ€™re being charged by logging into your Spotify receipts page. It will be the third one from bottom in the list on the left side of the page.

Any extra charges could possibly be "pending". A pending charge is a part of your bank or credit card company's authorization process. If the transaction doesnโ€™t successfully complete, no money will be taken and the charge will soon disappear. For more information, contact your bank/credit card company.

It is also possible to have several Spotify accounts active on Premium.

If youโ€™re unaware of any extra accounts:

  • Check with your friends/family to see if anyone you know subscribed with your payment details.
  • You can also follow the guide to finding any other accounts you might have subscribed to Premium.
  • If youโ€™ve just signed up to Premium, you may have signed up twice. If this happens, you donโ€™t need to do anything. The second payment is automatically applied to your next month, and you wonโ€™t be charged again until the month after. You can check this on your subscription page.

Hope this information helps! Happy streaming!
