Charged twice

Charged twice

Today I set up Spotify premium with the 50% off student discount. The first time I went to do it, I entered in my card details and then it asked for my NUS card number and D.O.B. At this point I needed to go and find my card to get the number. By the time I went back to my phone, the phone had refreshed itself and had asked me to enter my card details again. I have now therefore been charged twice with £4.99! This is shocking as I did not expect to pay double the price and fully expect a refund on one of these instantly! I have received one reciept saying that my payment has been made and confirmed, however my bank statement shows that 2 £4.99 transactions have been made!!!! I am absolutely shocked and appalled. I fully expect to receive this money back, or legal action will be taken.

If you haven't received a receipt from Spotify via Email, it's very likely just a pending charge.
