Clarification on why ignore features will not be included, even for premium accounts

Hi Spotify - could you please elaborate on why it was decided to not respect the interest of consumers by adding ignore / blacklist feature for artists or songs? Even for paying accounts?
Why are people forced to accept content that they are not interested in / think is poor?

Personally I'd be okay with this being a paid feature if it causes performance issues.
I'd also be okay with blocked artists being shown in Release Radar, Discover Weekly etc. playlists but me having to actively unlock them.
There is a ton of other great ways to do this.

So could you please clarify on why this was decided? Also maybe update on what you've been working hard on to improve this situation?

Thanks in advance and best regards,
