Closed facebook account, cannot log in to Spotify, created new account.

Closed facebook account, cannot log in to Spotify, created new account.

Good Morning,

 

i have closed my facebook account and cannot log in to my spotify account. I have created a new account so that the premium subscription and playlists can be transferred from the old account to the new one. Could anyone help complete the transfer or point me in the right direction? 

 

old account was <snip>@gmail.com and new account is pablogp07

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

You will need to get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand to get you moved over. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

 

Also just going to hide that email address to stop you from getting any spam.

Thank you both for your prompt help. I have replied to the automated email. Lets see how fast I get an answer.

So the issue isnt resolved. As Vodafone uk provide me with a premium subscription of Spotify this is making it trickier. 

Spotify support say they cannot transfer my account from one to another and Vodafone say the same thing.

 

How do I resolve this issue?

Contact vodaphone and ask them to transfer your subscription over to your new account. You can follow your old account and grab any playlists you want to keep that way.

thanks for your reply. I have asked them to do this but they say this is up to Spotify?

I don't think Spotify will be able to move the subscription since it is set up on Vodafone's own system not Spotify's.

A friend of mine has the same problem (premium subscription, deleted facebook account and now on the new account ciucci.gianluca he has no subscription). could you please help him? I already wrote to the support team.

As long as they reply directly to the automated email directly someone should get back to them within 24 hours. If not, give us a shout here and we can bump it for you. 😉

I'm sorry to hear about this. You'll have to get in touch with Spotify staff through the contact form, and they'll be able to sort this out for you.
