Connect Shazam to Spotify failed.

My Question or Issue

 

Dear Team,

From what I passed (again) to Spotify I have problems joining my account with the app Shazam. When I try to join the app I get the following message: "Connection failed to Spotify. You can try again later in the settings.

I've reinstalled both applications without solving the problem.

I kindly ask your support for the resolution of my problem.

Welcome to the community!

 

First up, let's try revoking Shazam's access to your account, then trying to connect your Spotify account to Shazam again. Just follow these steps to revoke access:

 

  1. Log in to your Apps page. 
  2. Find the app you want to remove and click REVOKE ACCESS.

 

If you're still having trouble, I'd recommend checking out the Shazam support site and getting in touch with the Shazam support team if you can't find a solution.

I revoked access to the Shazam app from your link and tried to connect
Spotify with the Shazam app. I click on Connect Spotify, the screen appears
to confirm the access to Spotify but after the confirmation appears the
same message: "Connection failed to Spotify. You can try again later in
the settings. "

Could you let me know what operating system and Spotify version you're using?

Also, could you try using another device to connect Spotify to your Shazam account?

I have been having this same problem for months now!! I am a premium spotify user & my device is a Samsung S8 I have several times revoked access & deleted & reiinstalled the spotify app but still everytime I go to connect my Shazaam to spotifly I get the same message it is incredibly frustrating!!
