Continuing charges for unsubscribed spotify account

My credit card was charged for a spotify subscription despite unsubscribing last march. .i contacted my credit card support and they told me i should get in touch with spotify support. . I need whatever is connected with my credit card to be discontinued because im planning to close my credit card and the wont allow me as long as im connected to spotify
