My Question or Issue

I had a Spotify premium account that I was paying for while in the U.S. and now I’ve gone to Belgium for college. A few weeks ago I stopped my subscription to premium because it was pulling money out of my American bank account. So my dad back in San Diego got a family subscription so I could have Spotify again. The thing is now I can’t change my country on the account to be a part of the family deal. Is there any way to fix this?

Hi,

Try to use a VPN set to the place you created the account in US.

I am just suggesting this because there is a low chance that it will work but it's worth a shot.

Alternatively, you could ask you dad to sign in with your account back in US and change the country for you, that is if he is in US right now. Or may ask a friend or relative that is actually in US to do that for you. Because this process needs your account to be "physically" in the place it was created.
