Country does not match

I cannot login to Spotify, because the player says that the country doesnt match. for whatever reason the account is set to be a "Great Britain" account even though I never used it outside of Germany.

I cannot select any other country. What can I do?

New account, GB-account again, country unchangeable.

Good to know that my workplace in Germany in a German company is actually part of Great Britain - without Spotify I would have never known that.
