Country won't update

Hi!

I'm having trouble with my spotify account; I lived in Paris for a year and switched my account from an Irish debit card to a French debit card. I moved back to Ireland a few months ago and I just recently cancelled my french card. My premium payment has just been declined as it is still attached to the french card, but I cannot change it back to my Irish card as it says it does not match my country. My country is listed as France and it is greyed out in the drop down menu so I cannot change it. 

Any help would be seriously appreciated!

Hey @Lucyod28, welcome to the community!

 

Since your previous payment method was already cancelled, and you're on the due date of the new payment, it's best to cancel the subscription first.

 

When the account is back to Free, you'll be able to update the country and resubscribe using the new card. Don't worry, you won't lose any playlists or songs when doing this.
