Created a new spotify account with facebook while trying to link my premium account to it

Hey guys, I recently got a premium account and I subscribed with an username and password (in other words, not with facebook), but then I wanted to link my spotify account to my facebook account so I can easily get my friends' music. Thing is that it didn't work.

Neither with Edit>Preferences>Connect to facebook (It opens the facebook tab on my browser but after validating it the page go blanks with just an "OK" writen in it, and the pop up which opened in spotify is just blank), nor with the Connect with facebook when launching spotify (This one just says "Sorry we weren't able to connect your spotify account to your facebook account" or something like that).

So I tried to use the "Connect with facebook" on my phone and actually it created a new spotify account. So now i got this account which is premium and my facebook linked account which isn't. Is there any way to merge them ? I've seen the "I accidentally created another account" thing in the FAQ but there's no text in this section so I'm asking here.

Currently there is a bug with connecting Facebook accounts to Spotify in the desktop app.

Users need to go to https://www.spotify.com/account/social/facebook/ in their browser to connect their Facebook account to their Spotify account.

I suggest you contact support and have them delete the Spotify account that was created using your Facebook and then use the link I posted to connect your Spotify account to Facebook. Or they might be able to merge them. Contact them and see what they say

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the help section or the community, you need to reply back to it.

Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.

Actually your first link worked and seems to have merged my account because when I used "Connect with Facebook" after clicking on your link it sucessfully connected me to my premium account so I don't even need to contact the support !
