My Question or Issue

I have created my account with Facebook when Spotify first started. There were more use cases for this in the past then now. At the moment, I want to completely get rid of my Facebook connection to my Spotify. I know there is an option to create a new one and copy all of the playlists. However, I am a type of person that saves everything to my Liked Songs (over 5000+ songs) and creating a new account would mean that I would have to "like" all of them again (and lose my discovery weekly preferences).

Is it possible to go through Spotify Support such that I could de-link it, get a new username (can be a random one at this point, I know I can change it after de-linking from Facebook) and still keep my music and preferences?

Hey @kmert10, thanks for reaching out to the Community!

There isn't a way to disconnect Facebook from your Spotify account, but for this particular case, I'd recommend getting in touch with Customer Support. They'll take a look and do their best to help.

Have a nice day!
