Creating new account with same email address

My Question or Issue

I had closed my Spotify account which used a certain email address. I now want to create a new Spotify account using the same email address, but whenever I try to Sign Up, it says "This email is already connected to an account". Moreover, when I try to Log In using this email address, and use the forgot password option, it says, "The username or email you provided is not associated with an active Spotify account".

It can take 14-30 days for your email address to become available again after closing the Spotify account associated with it.
