Credit card charged but couldn't successfully sign up for an account

Help! I tried signing up for a premium Spotify student account on my phone but the application crashed and I couldn't upload my documents!! Now i still have no account but my credit card was still being charged $4.99! What can I do or who should I contact to resolve this issue?

I found an article hopefully describing your problem here

 

Quote from the page:

If we’re unable to verify your student I.D., you won’t be eligible to claim the student discount. In this instance, any charges will show on your statement as ‘pending’, meaning no money has actually been taken.

 

Otherwise, try logging out and back in. Occasionally this is needed to force a sync of info between your device and our account system.

It’s also worth checking you’re logged into the right account.

Otherwise, the best way is to contact the Spotify helpdesk via here and explain them your problem.
