Crossfade within albums

There are certain albums that I come across that do not crossfade within. When I switch to shuffle the individual songs are able to crossfade normally, whether they be the end of the current song or the beginning of the new. However, when moving in order(i.e. from track 1 to track 2, track 2 to track 3, etc.), the crossfade turns itself off. Is there a way to make crossfade occur even within albums, or is there something that will eventually be put in to change this? Any help for how to get this to work would be greatly appreciated.
