My Question or Issue

Hi! I have an issue here. My date of birth is 04/01/2000, which is what I put in the Edit Profile section. But in the Account Overview section, it shows that my date of birth is 03/31/2000. I've tried a lot of times and no matter what date I put in the Edit Profile section, it always displays a different date in the Account Overview section. And the date displayed in the Account Overview section is always one day prior to the date I put in the Edit Profile section. 

 

Does anyone know how to solve this problem?

Thanks for your patience as I took a look at this.

 

Spotify is currently investigating an Ongoing Issue that is affecting the date of birth of user's accounts on the account overview page. You can check it out here.

 

You can help with the investigation by selecting the +VOTE button. It'll also be useful if you subscribe via the three-dots menu in the top right corner next to the title of the Ongoing Issue. That'll make sure you stay up to date with any relevant updates about it.

Hello!

I'm experiencing the same issue. I've tried to change it multiple times but no matter what I do it won't change to my actual birth date. My birthday is May 16th, 2000 and my account reads May 15th, 2000. It needs changed for me to access the student premium offer but I can't change it! Are there any updates on how to fix this problem?
