Deactivating facebook

Hey all!

 I've been looking for a way to un-link my facebook account from my spotify, reason being I want to disable my facebook account for a while. Everytime I log into spotify it automatically activates my facebook account again. I have a premium subscription so I don't just want to make a new account. Any suggestions? Thanks

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂

Unfortunately, if you have a Spotify account creating using Facebook there is no way to seperate that account from your Facebook. So you will need a new account. If you get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to assist you in getting a new account set up and getting everything transferred over onto it. 

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.
