Deleted email account associated with Spotify account - can’t retrieve password

My friend got a new phone and is trying to log into his account. He forgot the password and cannot retrieve it because he deleted the email address associated with his account. What does he do?

Your friends account may be connected to Facebook, so it might be worth trying the Log in with Facebook option and see if that helps. 

If not, and he can't access the email address registered on the account, he can get in touch with our support team here. They should be able to help him out. Find them here.
