Different country gift card

Recently I've moved countries and my girlfriends sent me some spotify vouchers, turns out they dont work over here and she spent alot of money on them...any solutions?

Unfortunately, you can redeem Spotify Gift Cards only in the country they were bought in.

Its very sad for Spotify, especially for folk who are trying to legimately gift a voucher to thier loved ones. As of today, it seems that Spotify is not keen on this business as I've not seen ANY efforts/solutions from their end to accomodate these queries other than stating the usual (it will not work). So much so that I was wrongly advised previously by a member in this support community to buy gift cards for my friends in Canada and Portugal. Kudos to poor service and pathetic support from Spotify for having being misinformed.
