Disconnected all devices but someone is still using my account

Disconnected all devices but someone is still using my account

I clicked sign out of all devices in the account page. I log in with my machine only and I still get a message periodically that someone else is listen and it boots me off.

I think it is because they are connected on Sonos or something like that. i even tried to change my password and that did not help. Can spotify tell me who else or what type of device is playing on my account?

I just woke up in the middle of the night by music suddenly being played via my Sonos. I didn't recognise the music, checked my phone, music wasn't being played. I went the sonos amp and turned it of, and on again. Music started to play. I logged in to my iPad and my Spotify suddenly said my sonos system streamed from someone else's account, a girl name who lives one house down from me.

i don't know this girl, never met her, and I guess she's not on my wifi due to password restriction. How the heck did this happen? Can sonos / Spotify connect play from outside MY wifi? Can I just walk around and stream to whatever sonos system that pops up in the Spotify connect list?

probably something similar to this happened to you. I hope Spotify replies.
