Discover Weekly playlist in French

Discover Weekly playlist in French

Brief description of the issue:

 

I'm an English speaker and my overall web and android interface displays in English, but this week's Discover Weekly is entirely French artists.

 

Steps to reproduce the issue:

  1. First I log in.
  2. Then I go to "your music"
  3. Then I go to the "discover weekly" playlist, which is only French artists

What steps you’ve tried already:

 

I stopped following that playlist and followed again. I also signed out and signed back in. I also checked my settings to make sure my preferred language was English.

 

Your device and operating system (e.g. MacBook Air, 10.10 OSX)

 

This problem is happening on any device I use. Multiply Windows computers, as well as my Android phone.

 

Type of Spotify account you have (Free/ Premium):

Premium

 

The app version of Spotify you’re using:  

 

Windows 

 

Android: 7.7.0.1179 armv7

Are you using a VPN, or maybe you've been listening in private session?

No, I don't use a vpn. And I don't listen in private sessions.

That’s odd, thanks for letting me know.

 

Can you try unfollowing your Discover Weekly playlist, and then following it again under Browse > Discover?
Let me know if that gets you back on track by next Monday. In the meantime, keep adding your favorite songs to Your Music/playlists to see if that helps too 🙂

 

If things aren’t looking better by Monday after trying these steps, i’d recommend reaching out to Support:
